This way, every new brush line or colour fill will use the stored gradient position. The Use Stored Colour Gradient option makes your tool use the previously stored gradient position. It is recommended to leave this option ENABLED when drawing with the Pencil tool. The Snap to Grid snaps your shape to the currently enabled grid. The Snap and Align option snaps the selected anchor point to any existing line, while displaying temporary rulers as a guide that you can also snap your anchor point to. The Snap to Contour option snaps your shape to any line you position it on. When drawing a shape, you can enable different snap modes to help you create your shape. When the Draw Behind mode is enabled, the lines you draw will appear behind the art that already exists. Using the Line tool, press to create a line which snaps-to every 15 degrees and then press to connect the start or end point of that line to another nearby line. Using the Ellipse or Rectangle option, press to create a perfect round or a perfect square and press to create the shape from its centre. Click and drag your mouse to draw the selected shape.
